The 2014 UN Geneva field trip was a great success!
Students and staff participated in the trip to UN Geneva in May. As always, UN staff from the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) among other divisions were very welcoming and gave stimulating lectures. Students also visited the UN Library and the League of Nations Museum and had a guided tour of the UN itself. This year students also attended the Irish Permanent Representation in Geneva and of course enjoyed Geneva’s cafes and scenery (despite the weather)!
Thanks to the UN, Dr Carlo Aldrovandi and all the students who participated.
