Dr Paul Shore of Brandon University, Manitoba, delivered the ISE Trust Council lecture on 2 May 2012 at ISE Belfast on, ‘Heirs of Ignatius, Heirs of Calvin: Heroes? Villains? Others? How Jesuits and Calvinists Visualised One Another during the High Baroque (1635-1700). The respondent was Dr Stephen Williams, Professor of Systematic Theology and Church History at Union College/Queen’s University Belfast. It was chaired by Very Rev Tom Layden, SJ, the Jesuit Provincial of Ireland and Chair of the ISE Trust Council.
