The Third IP in Constanta/Romania at the Black Sea (September 9-22, 2012)
This programme will again collaborate with departments of theology and religion from 20 European universities and involve especially orthodox theological faculties in the format and organisation of the IP. While drawing on elements from the former two IPs, it will give emphasis to the phenomena of Fluid Religions and Orthodoxy, allowing for a comparative study of these phenomena across religious traditions of Eastern and Western Europe alike. The programme invite to pursue both, study ”Orthodoxy and Religions in Souteast Europe” and further questions around “Religion and Public Theology”, “Constructing Religious Identitities”, “Religion and the EU”, “Religious Convictions in (Post)Secular Societies” and “Religion and Globalisation”.
