All accommodations / hotels and also the venue of the programme are on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is, therefore, advisable to book a flight into Sabiha Gökçen Airport. Low cost airlines usually fly there. As this might not always be possible, we provide directions also for arrivals at Atatürk Airport.

All the hotels / accommodations are located in an area called Kadiköy.

From Zübeyde Hanim

From Zübeydehanim Ögretmenevi to Marmara Uni., Faculty of Theology (Ilahiyat Fakültesi), there seems to be no direct public bus or transportation means. During the IP we will arrange special busses. But just in case, if one needs to go from Zübeydehanim Ögretmenevi to the Marmara, Faculty of Theology, the best way is: first to go to Kadiköy, and from there take another bus to Faculty of Theology, at Baglarbasi (near to CAPITOL shopping moll).

As the nearest city center to Zübeydehanim Ogretmenevi is Kadiköy, from Zübeydehanim Ögretmenevi to Kadiköy, you may take a public transportation bus. The following busses shall take you to Kadiköy:

  • 19E: Kadıköy – Yenidoğan
  • 19M: Kadıköy – Ataşehir
  • 19S: Kadıköy – Sarıgazi – Yenidoğan
  • 14A: Kadıköy – Alemdar

From Kadiköy to Marmara University, Faculty of Theology (Marmara Üniversitesi, İlahiyat Fakültesi), go to the Bus Station, and take any of the busses listed below. Remind the bus driver that you need to get off the bus at İLAHİYAT FAKÜLTESİ- Bağlarbaşı. İLAHİYAT FAKÜLTESİ is located at Bağlarbaşı, and it is next to a famous shopping moll CAPITOL.

  • 110 Kadıköy – Taksim (This bus also takes to the European side, the Taksim square)
  • 12A Kadıköy – Üsküdar

Dila Hotel is located at the Futat Bey sokak (road), which is a branch of Rihtim Caddesi (Street). The easisest way to go from the Dila Hotel to Marmara University, Faculty of Theology is to go the bus station located on the other side of the Rihtim street. From there you may take any of the busses listed below. Please remind the bus driver that you need to get off the bus at İLAHİYAT FAKÜLTESİ- Bağlarbaşı.
