International Peace Studies students enjoyed an intensive and stimulating programme provided by the UN Geneva, in April. The session kicked off with a talk from the Peace-Keeping Operations unit in the UN and was followed by sessions on human rights, humanitarian intervention, a UNHCR briefing and a seminar on climate change. Students also enjoyed a tour of the UN, as well as meeting socially in the evening. The weather was unusually sunny for April and added to the event. Thanks to Michael Domen, field trip student rep for his assistance on the trip and beforehand!
