Gerard Hefferan

Fr. Gerry Hefferan is a priest of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, Australia, an experienced practitioner in the field of Intercultural Theology and a leader in community-based solidarity projects in Australia and beyond.

The seminar will reflect on his experiences with groups involved in

· Dialogue and friendship with the Aboriginal Catholic Communities of South East Queensland

· Parish-based solidarity and ‘twinning’ between Australia and Timor Leste

· Partnerships between Catholics in Brisbane and in Kurdistan, North Iraq.
