Cathy Higgins’ Churches in Exile: Book Launch

Cathy Higgins’ new book, Churches in Exile: Alternative Models of Church for Ireland in the 21st Century (Columba, 2013) was launched Wednesday 22 May 2013 at Skainos in East Belfast. Higgins is Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Irish School of Ecumenics.

The launch followed the Church Fora Annual “Connect” conference, which was part of Community Relations Week.

Speakers at the launch included Hazel Franey, the Good Relations Manager at Belfast City Council, and Rev Dr Johnston McMaster, who works with Higgins on the Ethical and Shared Remembering Project at the Junction, Derry, and the Irish School of Ecumenics.
